• I’ve had to change host families, and I have to change again after Christmas or I’ll have to change schools, too.
• I have been kind of sad lately and I have a hard time finding motivation for school
• I’m having trouble concentrating on anything that doesn’t involve writing or drawing
• I almost want to go home

It’s not  a happy post, I know.

I have joined the Badminton Club, Thesbian Club, and the Democratic Club!

like really good, the acting was so great, and I cried

It was pretty sweet.

I think I did an alright job, actually! I asked my teacher what she thought and she basically said that I did good and that  I should keep it up.

I was so, so nervous. I’ve never acted in English before, but it was actually a lot of fun! I did mess up a bit in the beginning, but no one even brought it up, which must mean I did good enough that it didn’t matter.

I feel pretty good! I was 1 — 15 on the high score list!!

I find it quite surreal that I’m so far away from home. A whole ocean, in fact. I’m an ocean away from the people I love; that feels impossibly unreal to me. Feels like they’re all just around the corner.
